The Snow Globe (2 min read)

Consider.

Could it be that the snow globe just became a wise teacher?

The snow globe sits and all around is calm. It gleams in the light and sparkles at night. The scene inside that globe waits, uninterrupted, with pristine patterns and shimmering objects.

Shake it up and sparkly delights swirl and swoosh all around, nothing to see, just a viral blizzard.

A haze with an unknown and foggy picture. Yet there is beauty in that. Not knowing what shapes will first appear, where sparkles land, or how the scene will be presented.

Not seeing which way is up and which way is down, a cloud of mystery covers every part of that snow globe town.

Could it be that our world just became a giant snow globe, and we are amidst the globe being shaken?

Everything turned upside down, and shaken to the core, yet if you choose to believe someone is watching over the world, then you will know they are smiling with anticipation and excitement about the new scene emerging. Not to harm us, but to help, heal and evolve us.

The anticipation is there, the worry is there, but an alternative view is to know; it’s not the end, it’s just the beginning, and in time a glorious scene will come into view.

Beauty is coming, some things will stay the same, other things will be different. Yet, while we are currently being shaken to the core, it is painful, frightening, fear inducing, and in moments; terrifying.

The clouds will settle, the scene will become clear, and once again we’ll find our way through. We’ll emerge with extra sparkly bits dusted here and there; to guide, change and shape our future so we mend.

So, dear friend, take comfort in the chaos and find a glimmer of hope in the power of positive possibility.

Be well, pursue thoughtfulness.
